control of the aircraft, and say,
"I've got it." You then begin the
recovery.

(1) Neutralize controls (aileron,
stabilator, and rudder)
(2) Quickly analyze situation (attitude,
AOA, airspeed, altitude)
(3) Recover

When airspeed is above 150 KIAS,
reduce power to IDLE, and extend
speed brakes as necessary to mini-
mize airspeed and loss of altitude
(1) Level wings; if inverted, roll upright
in shorter direction
(2) Raise nose to horizon without
exceeding g limits or 17 units AOA
(3) Retract speed brakes and advance
power for straight and level flight
COMMON ERROR: Excessive
pullup may cause an accelerated
stall or an overstressed airframe.
COMMON ERROR: Rolling
pullup-applying excessive g load
during the roll to level the wings.
