Decrease AOB while
maintaining optimum
AOA with g (nose will rise
due to increased vertical
lift vector)
ii)
Maintain AOB until air-
speed slowly decreases
to entry airspeed of 300
KIAS
iii)
Increase AOB to reposi-
tion nose, maintaining
entry airspeed of
300 KIAS
(b) If nose is too high with respect
to horizon, airspeed will de-
crease
(i)
Increase AOB while
maintaining optimum
AOA with g (nose will fall
due to decreased vertical
lift vector)
(ii)
Maintain AOB until air-
speed slowly increases to
entry airspeed of 300
KIAS
(iii) Decrease AOB to reposi-
tion the nose, maintaining
entry airspeed of 300
KIAS
NOTE: It is essential to
remember during a
minimum radius turn that
g loads control AOA and
that AOB controls nose
position, which controls
airspeed.
