Use the T-45C scale model to demonstrate each of the
maneuvers discussed during this lesson.
NOTE: All overhead maneuvers require 7,000 ft of
altitude to complete.

(3) On a prominent terrain feature or
section line for use as visual refer-

Perform maneuver
(1) Advance power to approximately
96% rpm
(2) Expeditiously initiate a smooth 4-g
wings level pullup
COMMON ERROR: Relaxing 4-g
back stick pressure during the
initial pullup, resulting in insuffi-
cient airspeed to complete the
maneuver.
(3) Increase back stick pressure to
maintain 4 g's as airspeed de-
creases
