e. Corrective Lenses. SNAs required in accordance with
OPNAVINST 3710.7R to wear corrective lenses in flight, shall have
their CNATRA 1542/95, Naval Aviator Aviation Training Jacket
Summary Card, annotated in the comments section with words to the
effect, "Corrective lenses required while operating an aircraft".
f. Anthropometric Data Record, NAVMED 6410/9. Shall be
inserted in both the ATJ and NATOPS Training Jacket.
g. Ejection Seat Weight Limit Notification. Instructors or
SNAs that fall outside of the weight limits set by
ejection injury. CNATRA 1500/47 shall be completed and inserted
in the ATJ.
302. NUMBER SYSTEM. NAVAVSCOLSCOM shall place the student's
social security number on the ATJ for use as the jacket number.
International military students' ATJs shall be numbered with a
six as the first digit, the calendar year of entry as the next
four digits, and last four digits numbered sequentially as the
international students enter training during the calendar year.
NAVAVSCOLSCOM shall provide a class roster to NOMI, to include
information specified by NOMI for the initial input to the NOMI
data bank.
303. ATJ REVIEW. The ATJ of each student shall be reviewed and
discussed periodically with the student to determine progress and
to detect any problem areas. All reviews shall be annotated on
the CNATRA-GEN 1542/66, Jacket Review Divider, in the ATJ.
Informal jacket reviews of the most current stage ATFs may be
conducted by instructors to familiarize the instructor with the
student's performance. Reviews may be made as often as warranted
by the individual's progress, subject to the following
guidelines:
a. After any unsatisfactory event, flight or academic, the ATJ
shall be reviewed by the squadron student control officer or
other department head designated in writing by the commanding
officer.
b.
As specified in each master curriculum guide.
c. Prior to any carrier qualification training, the
controlling landing signal officer (LSO) shall conduct an ATJ
review.
d. The student's assigned permanent instructor (onwing) or
advisor may conduct an ATJ review at any time.
