A. Primary indication: Not achieving the predicted

B. Possible engine-related indications
1.
Decreased RPM
2.
Aberrant engine noises and/or instrument
fluctuations
FAILURE TO REACH
LINE SPEED
a.
Engine stall: "popping" or "bang"
b.
Engine component failure noise
(various sounds)
3.
Flameout (loss of thrust)
4.
Abnormal EGT (high or low)
5.
Low (or zero) oil pressure
6.
Low fuel flow
7.
Illuminated ACCEL caution light

Considerations

Runway remaining markers may or
may not be available

Runway length
(1) Sufficient length to safely abort
takeoff
(2) Insufficient length to abort takeoff
and remain on the runway
