A. ABORT procedures

Throttle - IDLE

Speed brakes - EXTEND
3.
Brakes - As required
4.
Hook - DOWN 1,000 FEET PRIOR TO
TAKEOFF ABORT
ARRESTING GEAR, IF REQUIRED
NOTE: If off center just prior to engaging
the arresting gear, do not attempt to go for
the center of the runway. Continue straight
ahead parallel to the runway centerline.
5.
Release brakes prior to crossing arresting
gear
CAUTION: Braking during CDP
engagement may raise the hook point
sufficiently to miss the arresting gear.
