Night Emergency Procedures

Go around
If go around not feasible -
1.
Wheel brakes - RELEASE (Both cockpits)
CAUTION: Failure to release brake pressure
in both cockpits may result in a locked brake
condition while switching from anti-skid to
normal brakes.
2.
ANTI-SKID switch - OFF
3.
Attempt braking
4.
Hook - DOWN 1,000 FEET PRIOR TO
ARRESTING GEAR
5.
NOTE: If aircraft departing the runway,
consideration to speed and terrain should
be given in deciding to eject or not.

Emphasize the increased importance of checking

sloped runways, unprepared surfaces. Also, note the

importance of commencing takeoff roll from a point on
* Total electrical failure
* GINA failure
* TACAN bearing failure
