Course Rules
Meridian Tower: “NAVY 1 ALPHA 135, your
interval is a T-A4 crosswind. With
interval, cleared to break”
32. You break and arrive at the abeam position properly
configured, on-speed, trimmed and with the Landing
Checklist complete. You make your abeam call:
“Tower, 135 abeam with 3 down
and locked for full stop, over”
Meridian Tower: “NAVY 1 ALPHA 135, roger
cleared to land 19L”
33. After switching to button 2 on the taxiway you
contact ground
“Ground, NAVY 1 ALPHA 135,
clear of the active runway”
Ground Control: “Roger, NAVY 1 ALPHA 135,
cleared to your line”
34. Clear of the duty runway, you complete the After
Landing checklist. As you taxi into the ramp area
select button 29 on the second radio to make your
inbound call WHILE CONTINUING TO MONITOR
GROUND CONTROL
“Base, SHAD 135 is in and
up”
35. You identify your taxi director, taxi to your parking
location. You park, chock the aircraft and complete
the Before Engine Shutdown checklist . You then
shut down the aircraft
