Downwind leg
a.
Procedure
(1) Maintain 200 KIAS, clean
(2) Maintain assigned altitude
b.
Control: maintain straight and level flight
3.
Base leg
a.
Procedure
(1) Maintain assigned base leg altitude (normally 1,500 ft AGL)
(2) When within 10 nm and 30 radials of FAC, transition to landing
configuration
(3) Maintain 150 KIAS, speed brakes retracted and perform landing
checklist
NOTE: 1/2 flaps may be used unless full stop landing planned.
