NOTE: To avoid damage to the aircraft
assure gear and flaps are UP and there is
not a SLATS caution light prior to 200
KIAS.

Primary instrument scan: ADI for heading, pitch,
bank, airspeed, AOA, vertical velocity, and
altimeter. Scan HSI and airspeed indicators for
congruency. Appropriately, scan other control
and performance instrument readouts

Intercept climb schedule speed and adjust

Maintain 250 KIAS
COMMON ERROR: Exceeding 250 KIAS
below 10,000 ft due to poor pitch control.

use a 5-10 kts lead point and rotate pitch
smoothly
