Navigation procedure
(1) Intercept/maintain course as
published for the approach
ATC
(3) Perform procedure turn if required
(4) Adhere to all restrictions, descend
to and comply with all altitude
restrictions
(5) Intercept and maintain published
course to FAF
b.
Aircraft control
(1) When commencing penetration
descent, reduce power to 75-80
percent rpm and simultaneously
lower nose
NOTE: 75-80 percent used during
BI stage - in later stages (RI, AN,
IR), other power settings may be
used for penetration.
(2) Extend speed brakes
(3) Adjust nose attitude as required to
maintain 250 KIAS at 4,000 to
6,000 fpm
