Move ahead: arms extended forward at
shoulder level with hands vertical at eye
level, palms facing backward; makes beck-
oning arm motion, speed of arm movement
indicating desired speed
6.
Turn left: right arm points downward while
left arm repeatedly moves upward and
backward, speed of arm movement indicat-
ing desired rate of turn
7.
Turn right: left arm points downward while
right arm repeatedly moves upward and
backward, speed of arm movement indicat-
ing desired rate of turn
8.
Slow down: arms down with palms toward
ground, then moved up and down several
times
9.
Proceed to next marshaler: pats sides of
head with both hands, then points to next
taxi director (near arm extended toward
new taxi director while other arm moves
across chest pointing toward new taxi
director)
10. Emergency stop: arms above head with
fists clenched and wrists crossed
11. Install chocks: extends arms down
45 degrees from body with fists closed and
thumbs pointed inward, then swings arms
outward to inward
12. Cut engine: arms level with shoulder;
moves one across throat in a slashing
movement while pointing other to engine
