Fuel flow slowly rises with rpm to idle
flow of 300-400 pph

At starter cut-out speed (45% rpm)
(1) Start control unit shuts down GTS
and GTS and ROTATION advisory
lights extinguish
(2) Engine ignition units deenergize

During ground starts, the
extinguish when a suitable DC output
is obtained (25 to 25.2 VDC at
approximately 42% rpm); this may
occur as high as 61% rpm due to weak

Throttle - ADVANCE SLOWLY TO
70% RPM
CAUTION: Following a start, do not
advance the throttle rapidly before the
bleed valve closes, as there is a
possibility that the engine will overheat.
