T-45A UJPT, E2-C2, ADV, & IUT Eng-24
no restrictions on the rate of throttle
movement.
2.
FUEL CONTRL switch - MANUAL
MANUAL FUEL advisory light illuminates.
Engine rpm may decrease by no more than
6%
3.
FUEL CONTRL switch - NORMAL
MANUAL FUEL advisory light goes out
and ensures previous rpm is achieved
4.
HYD 2 RESET button - PRESS
Check that HYD 2 PRESS caution light
goes out (around 2,000 psi) and hydraulic
pressure indicates in normal range (climbs
to and stabilizes at 3,000 psi)
NOTE: HYD 2 RESET may not be enabled
on-line and the BATTERY VOLTS gauge on
the power management panel is in the green
range (24-29 volts DC). The ADR will not
function below 22.5 volts DC, and in the
T-45A the ADR BIT takes up to 10 seconds.
5.
Hydraulic pressure - CHECK
3,000 PSI (HYD 1, HYD 2, BRAKE)
6.
Throttle - IDLE
CHECK EGT AND RPM, ENSURE BLEED
VALVE CLOSED AND RPM +/- 2 PERCENT
IDLE RPM PER NATOPS FIGURE 4-2
NOTE: Bleed valve closure can be
confirmed by noting rpm increases
approximately 3% and EGT decreases by
50 degrees C from previous idle indications.
