(2) Rotate to takeoff attitude

Fly aircraft off runway

Establish positive rate of climb: verify
on altimeter and VSI
NOTE: Transition from no flap
configuration to full flap configuration
upwind before turning downwind.

Establish and maintain instrument and
VFR scan

Climb out and maintain optimum AOA

When cleared by tower and with
proper interval
