ILS can only be selected in CDI mode
1.
Once ILS selected PLAN mode may be chosen
2.
ILS only steering -- CDI on HSI indicates deviation
form ILS localizer
3.
When ILS and TCN, WYPT, or WO/S steering
selected at same time, the CDI course deviation
indicator shows TCN, WYPT, or WO/S deviation,
not ILS localizer deviation.
