Procedures
a.
Ensure straight and level, 89% RPM
and 300 KIAS on a cardinal heading
b.
Raise nose to approximately 20
degrees above the horizon
c.
Continue nose up and initiate a slow
roll in the direction of maneuver
d.
Reach a maximum pitch of 45 degrees
above the horizon, 45 degrees of
heading change, and 45 degrees AOB
e.
As AOB increases, start the nose
smoothly downward toward horizon
f.
90 degrees of heading change is
completed with 90 degrees AOB, nose
on the horizon and an airspeed of 150-
170 KIAS
g.
Begin a gradual roll out at the same
rate as entry roll rate
h.
Reach a maximum nose down pitch of
45 degrees with 135 degrees of
heading change
i.
Recover straight and level, at 300
KIAS, and 180 degrees from original
heading
