2-3 G Pull
BARREL ROLL
a.
Ensure straight and level, 92% RPM
and 350 KIAS on a cardinal heading
b.
Raise nose to approximately 20
degrees above the horizon
c.
Continue nose up and initiate a smooth
roll in the direction of the maneuver
while scribing an arc around an
imaginary 45 degree reference point
d.
Nose should be 45 degrees above the
horizon with 45 degrees of heading
change and 90 degrees AOB
e.
Continue until aircraft is inverted, wings
level, 90 degrees off original heading,
and airspeed between 170-190 KIAS
f.
Continue roll until aircraft is 45 degrees
nose down and 90 degrees AOB
g.
Coordinate roll rate so that the aircraft
rolls out on entry altitude, heading and
airspeed
