CONCLUSION
This lesson has reviewed the approach information,
procedures, techniques, and communication rules
required in GCAs and missed approaches, as well as the
components of an ILS system. It included an
introduction to ILS approach procedures.
Be certain that you can identify the commonalities and
differences between PAR and ASR approaches.
The procedures learned and practiced in the BI stage will
be used again and again in your career. Your knowledge
and proficiency of instrument procedures is essential for
you to properly and safely conduct yourself in the
instrument flight environment. Your goal as a Naval
Aviator is to maintain the level of combat readiness
necessary for worldwide mobility. This readiness
includes the ability to conduct and complete combat
missions in adverse meteorological conditions.
