CONCLUSION
This lesson has been both a review of the components of
an ILS system and an introduction to ILS approach
procedures.
The procedures learned and practiced in the BI stage will
be used again and again in your career. Your knowledge
and proficiency of instrument procedures is essential for
you to properly and safely conduct yourself in the
instrument flight environment. Your goal as a Naval
aviator is to maintain the level of combat readiness
necessary for worldwide mobility. This readiness
includes the ability to conduct and complete combat
missions in adverse meteorological conditions.
