A. Description
1.
Abeam position: 600 ft AGL, on-speed,
and between 1.5 and 1.75 nm laterally
across from touchdown position on runway
2.
180-degree: 600 ft AGL, on-speed, 15
seconds past abeam with time adjusted for
wind
3.
135-degree: Have established a 200-300
fpm rate of descent
4.
90-degree: 500 ft AGL and on-speed
5.
45-degree: 375-400 ft AGL and on-speed
6.
Start position: on runway centerline, on-
speed, centered ball, 700-fpm rate of
descent, and approximately 15-18 seconds
to touchdown
