Recover by
(1) Expeditiously lowering the nose to
slightly below descent attitude and
allowing airspeed to increase
(2) Returning to initial 180 KIAS de-
scent attitude without reentering
the rudder shaker
NOTE: The maneuver is complete
when the wings are level and the
aircraft is in a 180-KIAS idle de-
scent.

a.
Review prestall and aerobatic checklist
b.
Dirty up, slow to on-speed, and com-
plete landing checklist, cross-checking
AOA with computed "on-speed" condi-
tion for aircraft gross weight
c.
Perform maneuver
(1) Maintain wings level
(2) Reduce power to IDLE
(3) Adjust nose attitude to maintain
altitude
(4) Allow aircraft to decelerate until
rudder shaker
d.
Recover: simultaneously
(1) Advance power to MRT/retract
speed brakes
