Stall sequence

NOTE: Once the aircraft is on-speed and
in the proper configuration for the maneu-
ver, do not trim the aircraft into the stall.

LECTURE NOTES
Explain that once SNPs display confidence in their
skills, individual stalls will be combined into a series.
SNPs will only perform the prestall and aerobatic
checklist before initiating the series and then review the
checklist between each stall.
Stress the importance of checking area clear; including
above and below, before each maneuver.
Emphasize proper stall recovery, i.e., when the wing
drops, do not try to level it before reducing AOA.

Break turn stall 1.7.2.2.1

Complete prestall and aerobatic check-
list

Perform maneuver
(1) At 250 KIAS, roll into a 70-80
degree AOB level turn
(2) Reduce power to IDLE and extend
speed brakes
(3) Maintain altitude
(4) Apply positive back stick pressure
to pull aircraft into stall within 180
degrees of turn
