(1) Add power to MRT/retract speed
brakes
(2) Raise landing gear
(3) Raise flaps/slats at 140 KIAS
(4) Maintain level flight while acceler-
ating to 250 KIAS
(5) Trim as necessary
(6) Reduce power to maintain 250
KIAS

Prestall activities

Conditions: weather and altitude for
stalls and aerobatics 1.7.2.1.2.1
(1) Perform during daylight
(2) Perform during VMC/visible hori-
zon
(3) Commence maneuvers to com-
plete recovery by 10,000 ft AGL,
minimum
b.
Complete prestall and aerobatic check-
list
(1) Secure cockpit of foreign object
(2) Secure map case
(3) Check fuel state
(4) Clear the area
