Procedure
1.
Simultaneously:
a.
Set throttle to MRT (if required)
b.
Retract speed brakes
c.
Adjust nose to maintain optimum AOA at approximately
10-12 degrees nose-up
2.
Confirm climb on both altimeter and VSI
3.
Raise gear (minimum 100 ft AGL)
COMMON ERROR: Raising gear without both climb
indications.
4.
Raise flaps/slats at 140 KIAS, wings level and 300 ft AGL
5.
Make missed approach call to controlling agency once stabilized
in missed approach
6.
Accelerate to 200 KIAS if remaining in pattern or 250 KIAS if
leaving pattern
COMMON ERROR: Accelerating beyond 200 KIAS in pattern.
7.
Comply with controllers and or published missed approach
procedures
NOTE: Standard level off procedures apply.
