Cancellation
a.
Departure control must indicate portion of SID routing that still applies
b.
Departure control must restate altitude restrictions

Intercepting an arc from a radial 2.6.6.2
Sg 4, fr 7
GROUND SPEED X 1% = DME TO ARC LPT
(USING 1/2 SRT)
INBOUND
- ADD 1% of GS to the arc DME
OUTBOUND - SUBTRACT 1% of GS from the
arc DME
RADIAL TO ARC LEAD POINT CALCULATION
NOTE: Your ground speed in miles per minute closely approximates your
indicated MACH number (No wind). 1/60 MACH correlates to roughly 6 miles
per minute, e.g., 6 miles /min x 60 = 360 KGS (No wind).
1.
Estimate ground speed - Use one percent of ground speed as lead point
for a turn of approximately 90 degrees
2.
Begin 1/2 SRT at the determined lead DME and vary AOB as required to
intercept the arc
