(7) Emergency drills.
(a) The Mishap Plan shall be activated at least once
each quarter--four times per year, unless actual injuries occur
to students which require activation of the plan.

Mishap Plan is kept current and is adequate in all aspects.
(8) Safety stand-downs shall be conducted, as a minimum,
annually, to review the general safety/training environment and
specific precautions/practices. The Commanding Officer is
encouraged to conduct safety stand-downs anytime events dictate.
(9) Hurricanes/Tornadoes. In the event of an
approaching hurricane or tornado, all personnel shall comply
with current NAVAVSCOLSCOM Instruction 3140.2 concerning
preparation and evacuation.

Student Flow Management Data
a. Graduation. IUT's are graduated upon successful
completion of the course curriculum requirements.
b. Remedial Training. Remedial training, up to two hours
may be assigned daily, after a normal training day; however, a
minimum of ten hours shall elapse between the additional
instruction (AI) and the next scheduled event.
(1) Academic progress. IUT's who fail an exam will be
debriefed and given academic counseling by the Training Chief,
assigned additional study, and retested. A student who fails a
retest shall be referred to a Academic Review Board (ARB), per
current CNATRAINST 1500.4F.
(2) Physical training (PT). When an IUT fails to meet
the prescribed PT standards of any evolution, active training
status will be suspended and the IUT will be placed in remedial
PT. While in remediation, the IUT will receive AI in the
specific area of deficiency. If any IUT remains deficient for
more than ten working days, an ARB will be convened to determine
the IUT's disposition.
