them in Legal/Admin hold status if they have been determined to
be distracted from training and a possible safety risk to
themselves or others.

e. Instructor Qualification Program. Aircrewmen shall be
properly screened for High-Risk Instructor Duty suitability per
Enlisted Transfer Manual and current CNET/CNATRA directives. As
a minimum the screening will consist of a review of the
prospective instructor's service/medical records and an
interview with the AEATS director.
(1) Individuals graduate a Navy Instructor Course (NEC
9502).
(2) Individuals instructing aircrew specific instruction
must be a Naval Aircrew Candidate School graduate.
(3) All prospective instructors (instructors under
training) shall complete the Naval Aircrew Candidate School
Instructors Job Qualification Requirements. This training and
steps leading to final instructor qualification shall be
documented in the member's training jacket.
(4) Instructor qualifications shall be documented as
follows:
(a) Instructor Course completion (NEC 9502) - service
record and training jacket.
(b) NAVTRACOM DOR and training time out policy -
signed statement of understanding - training jacket.
(c) NACCS Instructor designation letter signed by the
commanding officer - service record and training jacket.

(e) Current American Red Cross Standard First Aid/CPR
