much AOB for the required
heading changes during the final
portion of the approach, resulting
in overshooting the assigned
heading. You should use an AOB
that approximates the number of
degrees to be turned, not to
exceed 10 degrees AOB during
final.

(3) Use constant rate descent scan
(on-speed AOA) for glideslope
COMMON ERROR: Overconcern
with vertical velocity and altitude
approaching the DH may result in
poor heading control. On the other
hand, fixating on heading may
result in poor glideslope control
and descent below DH.
