T-45C TS, ADV & IUT OCFFP-01
Out-of-Control Flight
(2) Comply with NATOPS recovery procedures
B.
Low airspeed departures
1.
Critical flight regimes: any time airspeed is so low
that aerodynamic forces are negligible and aircraft is
functionally ballistic--can occur above 0 KIAS and in
any nose-high attitude (not necessarily vertical)
INSTRUCTOR NOTES
All intentional low airspeed departures will be initiated from 70
degrees or 110 degrees noseup.

INSTRUCTOR NOTES
Because the T-45C has a fully powered elevator, there is no
aerodynamic feedback.

Entry procedures 10.7.4.1
a.
Start at 250-300 KIAS, no lower than 18,000 ft
AGL
b.
Commence a 4-g pull to vertical
