INSTRUCTOR NOTES
You will not necessarily experience all of the following indica-
tions of deep stall.
1.
Low airspeed (below 100 KIAS)
2.
Increasing AOA to 30 units
3.
Increasingly heavier buffeting as stall deepens
4.
Increasing yaw rate
5.
Increasing sink rate

Wing drop

Entry procedures 10.7.2.1
1.
Ensure clean configuration (landing gear, flaps, and
speed brakes retracted)
2.
Set power to 75% rpm and maintain altitude with
pitch
3.
As AOA increases beyond 15 units, note amount of
buffet and wing drop
INSTRUCTOR NOTES
Above 23 units AOA use the rudder (not ailerons) to control
wing position and yaw rate in order to avoid entering a
departure.
