T-45C TS, ADV & IUT OCFFP-01
Out-of-Control Flight
MOTIVATION
Being a Naval aviator means being able to push your aircraft to
the edge of the envelope safely; being an outstanding Naval
aviator means being able to push it past the edge and bring it
back . . . safely. By practicing flight beyond the limits of normal
flight, you will be more confident in your ability both to push every
ounce of performance out of your aircraft whenever it becomes
necessary to do so and to respond to inadvertent excursions
beyond the normal envelope.
OVERVIEW
This lesson will prepare you theoretically and procedurally for
exploration of out-of-control (OCF) flight conditions in the T-45C.
In addition to a general overview of OCF, this lesson covers
specific characteristics of the T-45C in the following situations--
*
High AOA/deep stall investigation
*
Departures
*
Flameout/instruments
