Correctional procedures for turn away from wingman
a.
Wingman starts turn acute or close
(1) Before crossing lead's six: initially use more AOB and
less nose down to pass 2,000 ft behind lead's six
(2) After crossing lead's six: use less AOB than normal
b.
Wingman starts turn sucked
(1) Before crossing lead's six: initially use less AOB than
normal and lower nose to increase airspeed
(2) While crossing lead's six: use more AOB than normal
to arrive on bearing
c.
Wingman starts turn wide
(1) Before crossing lead's six: initially use more AOB than
normal and lower nose to increase airspeed
(2) After crossing lead's six: use less AOB than normal to
arrive on bearing
d.
Wingman on bearing line after passing lead's six and
before lead rolls out: raise nose to stay on bearing without
going acute
