III. Indications of station passage 2.7.5.1.7.1
A.
VOR: noted when the first FROM indication appears in the HSI
NOTE: To obtain a FROM indication after station passage, you
must set the course deviation indicator to a course that results in a
TO indication prior to station passage.
B.
TACAN/VOR DME: Due to increased size of the cone of confusion
associated with TACAN stations, time of station passage is noted
when minimum DME is reached. Use same procedure for VOR/
DME station passage
