7. Outbound from Laredo, switch back and check back in
on button 25.
8. Once inbound to Premont, the route may be terminated
anytime after passing abeam Benavides
9. Usually terminate abeam Benavides if using south flow
runways and fly all the way to Premont if using north
flow runways
K. RTB
1. Aircraft will set up for a 10-mile initial and switch to
button 13
2. No carrier breaks are authorized at night and break
speed is 250 KIAS.
3. If the pattern is saturated, have solos do GCAs until
pattern opens up
4. Students must get a minimum of 6 pattern full-flap
landings or flight will be incomplete for landings
5. Keep an eye on the weather, flight is considered
complete if solos navigate at least to Hebbronville and
get six night landings in the pattern
6. Monitor the solos switch to button 13
NOTE: Sometimes your wisdom could help in certain
situations.
7. Per SOP, student solos will use Zulu call sign and call
the ball to the RDO
8. Landings--full stop with at least 500 lbs on centerline
with taxi light on and roll all the way to the end on the
runway
