B. Procedure
1.
Lead and wingman: smoothly advance power, retract speed
brakes, and rotate to appropriate pitch angle (10 degrees noseup)
2.
Lead: with positive rate of climb and 140 KIAS, signal to raise gear
and flaps/slats, if in VMC. Otherwise, lead will transmit gear and
flaps/slats call over radio.
