a boost pump is less than 4.7 to

NOTE: Loss of boost pump pres-
sure could result in fuel starvation
and engine flameout in certain
negative g flight/maneuvers.
NOTE: Above 25,000 ft, fuel
vaporization/venting will verify a

FUEL SHUTOFF T-handle
a.
Location: aft panel of left console, fwd
cockpit only
b.
Function: opens and closes fuel
shutoff valve, controlling fuel supply to
engine and GTS system (normal--
open; during certain emergencies--
closed)
NOTE: With the engine at MRT, pulling the
FUEL SHUTOFF T-handle will result in
engine shutdown in less than one second.
Confirmed by actual aircraft emergency
shutdown with throttle stuck at MRT--
February 1996.
