Procedure
1.
Simultaneously:
a.
Set throttle to MRT (if required)
b.
Retract speed brakes
c.
Adjust nose to maintain optimum AOA at approximately 10 degrees
noseup, cross-checking AOA
2.
Confirm climb on altimeter and VSI
3.
Raise gear (minimum 100 ft AGL)
COMMON ERROR: Raising gear without both climb indications.
4.
Raise flaps/slats at 140 KIAS, wings level and 300 ft AGL
NOTE: Transition from full to 1/2 flaps may be accomplished above
125 KIAS
5.
Make missed approach call to approach control once stabilized in missed
approach
6.
Accelerate to 200 KIAS if remaining in pattern or 250 KIAS if leaving
pattern
COMMON ERROR: Accelerating beyond 200 KIAS in pattern.
7.
Comply with controllers and or published missed approach instructions
NOTE: Standard level off procedures apply.
C.
Control
1.
Simultaneously, advance power to MRT and retract speed brakes
2.
Establish a 10-degree noseup attitude
3.
Raise gear with a positive climb on both VSI and altimeter
COMMON ERROR: Raising gear without verifying two climb indications.
