Mission analysis refers to the ability to coordinate, allocate, and monitor crew and aircraft resources.
1.
Mission analysis includes:
a.
Organizing and planning for what will occur during the mission.
b.
Monitoring the current situation.
c.
Reviewing and providing feedback of what has occurred.
2.
The three stages of mission analysis:
a.
Pre-mission analysis:
i.
Establishes mission requirements and constraints.
ii.
Specifies both long and short term plans.
iii.
Advises the crew about what to expect.
