Confirm climb
a.
Altitude readout increasing (climb)
b.
Positive vertical velocity (climb)
5.
Raise gear
6.
Raise flaps/slats
a.
Minimum 140 KIAS
b.
Wings level
c.
Transition from full to 1/2 flaps may be
accomplished above 125 KIAS
NOTE: Simultaneously while
performing the above steps,
communicate (Call sign) - missed
approach.
7.
Accelerate to 200 KIAS if remaining in
pattern or 250 KIAS if leaving pattern
8.
Comply with missed approach instructions
C. Control
1.
Simultaneously, advance power to MRT
and retract speed brakes
2.
Establish a 10-degree noseup attitude
3.
Raise gear with a positive climb on both
VSI and altimeter
COMMON ERROR: Raising gear without
verifying two climb indications.
4.
Rotate to on-speed, then maintain 10
degrees pitch and allow aircraft to
accelerate
