NOTE: Simultaneously while performing the
above steps, communicate (Call sign) - missed
approach.

Accelerate to 200 KIAS if remaining in
pattern or 250 KIAS if leaving pattern

Comply with missed approach instructions
C. Control
1.
Simultaneously, advance power to MRT
and retract speed brakes
2.
Establish a 10-degree noseup attitude
3.
Raise gear with a positive climb on both
VSI and altimeter
COMMON ERROR: Raising gear without
verifying two climb indications.
4.
Rotate to on-speed, then maintain
10 degrees pitch and allow aircraft to
accelerate
5.
Retract flaps/slats with a minimum of
140 KIAS, wings level
6.
Climb to missed approach altitude at
200 KIAS if remaining in the pattern,
250 KIAS if exiting pattern
COMMON ERROR: Accelerating beyond
250 KIAS below 10,000 ft.
7.
Use normal lead point of 10% of the VSI for
level off at missed approach altitude
8.
Trim as required throughout the maneuver
