Velocity Vector
MOTIVATION
Your T-45C HUD system and its velocity vector convey
aircraft movement information not otherwise clearly
available to you, the pilot. It details exactly where your
aircraft is going with relationship to the ground and
airborne objects in view. It enhances your ability to
precisely control and position your aircraft, which results
in safer tactical weapons delivery, approaches for
landing, inflight rejoins, situational awareness,
plus overall navigation and control.
The HUD velocity vector (sometimes titled with another
name depending upon the manufacturer) is an integral
part of modern HUD systems. Learn to use your T-45C
HUD and velocity vector well, for they will help you to
become an even safer and more capable pilot.
