Components
VIDEOCASSETTE RECORDER--
1.
The Marconi VCR system includes a video
MARCONI
interface module (VIM) and a sealed video
module (SVM). The VIM is comprised of
the VCR recorder, the control panel, and a
receptacle for the SVM. The SVM is a

removeable module that contains VCR
recording heads, capstans, and a video
cassette tape. Normally, the SVM is loaded
and unloaded into the VIM by the aircrew

The TEAC VCR system is a self-contained
unit. It does not utilize a VIM or SVM.
Instead, 8 mm cassettes are loaded directly
into the recorder cassette compartment
