Cassette tape installation and removal

(i)
Installation
(a) SVM cover - remove
(b) Press cassette release lever
SVM VIDEO ACCESS COVER
(c) Cassette tape - insert

(d) SVM cover - replace
(e) Insert SVM into the VIM upon
entering the cockpit
(f)
Ensure SVM locking bar is
locked
CASSETTE RELEASE LEVER
(ii) Removal

(a) SVM locking bar - unlocked
(b) SVM - remove from VIM
NOTE: The cassette tape
should be removed form the
SVM in an air-conditioned
environment as follows:
(c) SVM cover - remove
CASSETTE HOLDER

(d) Ensure tape is unthreaded
CAUTION: Failure to ensure the
cassette tape is unthreaded
before removal will damage the
SVM and the tape.
(e) SVM green lever - push to
SEALED VIDEO MODULE (SVM)
release tape
