Functionality
a.
ADRS activates when 28 VDC
essential services bus is powered

Built-in test initiated with power

data with emphasis on last 15 minutes

Pressing either cockpit air data
recorder button initiates a 10-second
ADR function. The ADR saves in
memory (until downloaded by main-
tenance personnel) both the 5-second
period prior to and the 5-second period
after pressing the ADR button

Flight incident function records

ADR records incident data contin-
uously so that the last 15 minutes of
flight is always retained. Data prior to
last 15 minutes of flight is also retained
at a lower sampling rate
