Assume you have been cleared for a TACAN
approach, what NAV equipment should you set up?
ANSWER: You should set and tune all available NAV equipment to
local stations both to assist in maintaining orientation and to be
available in case of TACAN failure during the approach.

Reason: to ensure HSI and ADI agree with standby compass

Standby attitude indicator - ERECT

Altimeter - SET AS REQUIRED
