Introduction to IFT
MOTIVATION
The T-45A simulators are highly effective and versatile training
devices that should be handled with the same care and
concentration you would afford the T-45A aircraft. From Fam
through CQ, the T-45A simulators offer realistic initial and
remedial training. Remember, a simulator event has the same
effect on your grade point average as does a flight in the aircraft.
OVERVIEW
At the end of this orientation, you will be familiar with the design,
features, and operation of the T-45A IFT and OFT simulators, as
well as be able to set up the IFT for unsupervised practice
periods.
