Introduction to the T-45A simulators
A.
Purpose: to develop your knowledge of normal and
emergency procedures as well as skills and techniques
for flying the T-45A without the costs associated with an
actual aircraft flight

Practice emergency/malfunction procedures beyond
the limits we can allow in real aircraft, and without
risk to life or aircraft
2.
Allows rapid remedial practice on specific areas of

difficulty
Blank
3.
Allows for the flight training weather environment
stipulated by the Master Curriculum Guide (i.e., day,
dusk, night, cold, hot, crosswinds, clouds, visibility),
regardless of actual conditions
4.
Provides warmup events
5.
Allows practice in the critical IFR-to-VFR flight
transition close to the ground at instrument missed
approach point
6.
Demonstration mode shows how specific maneuvers
look and feel much more effectively than can be
briefed, i.e., landings, FCLP, CQ, CV rendezvous,
acrobatics, weapons patterns, gunnery pattern, ILS
