Upon completion of this unit of instruction, the student will
emphasis on cardiovascular conditioning through various strength
and endurance exercises. Complete all objectives using proper
form, technique, and without injury to personnel or damage to
equipment.

Explain the requirements of the NACCS Physical Standards Test
(PST).
5.6
Complete the NACCS entry level PST (in test), within the
standards of "Satisfactory" in all categories for age and gender.
5.7
Complete the NACCS graduation level PST (out test), within the
standards of "Good" in all categories for age and gender.
5.8
Swim 400 meters using the Sidestroke, American crawl,
Breaststroke or a combination of the three within 11 minutes
(Rescue Swimmer School (RSS) candidates only).
