| CHAPTER FOUR
FUEL PLANNING, JET LOGS, DD 175
400.
INTRODUCTION
The initial mission planning for a low-level flight is nearly complete. All that remains is fuel
planning, a jet log, and a DD 175. This section describes the profile used to compute the data for
the chart and jet card. Additionally, for each flight you are required to have a DD 175 completed
even though you will fly stereo routes for all but one of your T-6A VNAV flights.

T-6A VNAV STEREO ROUTES
T-6A low-level training flights are N5001 through N5190 and F5101 and F5102. The flight
schedule references the flight by NAS Pensacola (NPA) stereo route number under the
mission/route column and syllabus flight number (N5001, N5002, etc ).
The stereo routing defines both the VFR and IFR portions of the flight. The various stereo routes
are listed in the T-6A Stereo Route Guide. Typically, the flight profile flows as shown in
Figure 4-1. However, the flight may or may not return to IFR flight after the low-level portion.

The figures shown on the following pages (also in the T-6A In-Flight Guide) provide the data
necessary for your fuel planning. Your NATOPS provides the most current data, and should be
used for actual fuel computations. The figures illustrated here are provided for convenience in
studying the examples provided.
